Mythology is sort of my thing (in fact you can find my newest book on giants here for a really good price!). It's one of my interests, and it also happens to help pay the bills. I think that world mythology, particularly ancient mythology, however, has been treated very poorly by the modern historical and archaeological communities. While we can be almost certain that some myths are fictional, to relegate all myths as fictional, or to even assume that some myths are exaggerated versions of the truth is, at best, insulting to the cultures who first told those myths.
